EducationalQualifications :
Internationally recognised senior maritime qualification – example: Master Mariner Class 1 or university degree, preferably in marine transportation or marine engineering, ideally with an MBA.
Experience ;
- Minimum 15-20years’ progressive experience in ports or maritime operations (preferably inthe Oil and Gas industry), including a minimum of 5 years in a senior portmanagement role.
- Proven experienceleading complex port operations, infrastructure or logistics functions ispreferred.
- Strong knowledge of international conventions (MARPOL, SOLAS, ILO, etc.), oil & gas industrybodies standards and the shipping industry.
- Demonstratedleadership, risk management and strategic decision-making capability.
- Excellentstakeholder management abilities, negotiation and communication skills.
